Catherine Parker - Training Consultant

Catherine Parker Solutions – Working in partnership with DJD Social Care Consultants in order to bring quality of life to those most vulnerable.

There are 2 things I am extremely passionate about, other than wine and food, and that is mental health and learning. I believe everyone has the ability to learn, through instruction and interactive, dynamic training I have helped thousands of delegates over the last 15 years approach their caring role with passion and enthusiasm and the right skills and knowledge to perform to the best of their ability. Health and social care training has been a passion of mine which I have been lucky enough to share with others.

I specialise in safe people handling and volunteer for the safeguarding adults board in Bradford as a trainer. I am also a practicing counsellor with psychotherapy and over six years of psychotherapeutic training. This has enabled me to bring an extra dimension into the affirmative courses for a more effective attitude change amongst the experienced delegates that has helped reduce conflict and complacency within the workplace.

I am committed to helping individuals back to work or find alternative roles for individuals that approach me and give them the guidance they need to be successful in the interview process resulting in satisfaction from both the candidate and company’s perspectives. The strong people skills that I possess are reflected in the strong relationships I have built with both individuals and clients at all levels. I work well under pressure when clients ask me to deliver staff within tight timescales.

My service to clients and candidates does not stop at placement but I am available at any time to meet future needs e.g. Induction, health and safety briefings, management information provision, performance management and client review meetings.”
